On 14 December 2006 Michele Opened The First Pizzeria In Via San Donà: Particular Furnishings, Warm Colours, Painted Counter Reminiscent Of His Sicily, "Pizzeria Da Michele And His Maxi Pizzas".
He Was The First To Offer Pizzas In The Maxi Format In Mestre
He was the first to offer pizzas in the Maxi format to share in Mestre : Rich in ingredients , beaten dough, crunchy dough. He only made Maxi pizzas, from the classics to the specialties, such as the Venetian, the pig, the tasty, the sinful that we still find on the menus. The Mission is to offer the people of Mestre a large, rich and above all good pizza, just as Michele likes it. Ingredients prepared and seasoned in the right way, of high quality (in fact he used fresh potatoes, fresh champignon mushrooms, oregano, basil, to create intense flavors and hearty pizzas).
Many requests for pizzas arrived from customers in the center of Mestre and the Piave Stazione area, so in 2011 he decided to open the home delivery only laboratory in Via Cappuccina to sort the orders from Via San Donà.
The “Via cappuccina” road was closed less than a month after the opening of the store in Via cappuccina, due to tram works that lasted two years. The area became the "Bronx" of Mestre, an area of ??drug dealing and degradation. Despite this, and despite the fact that it was only a laboratory that made home deliveries, local customers came to eat pizza in the laboratory itself.
