Allergens:1,9,14 - Eggplant caponata is one of the cornerstones of traditional Palermo cuisine. This wonderful dish is prepared with fried aubergines, cut into chunks, and the addition of onion, celery, tomato sauce, olives, capers and what is its distinctive feature: sweet and sour. Served with homemade bread. Small note of color: Palermitans usually eat it cold!
