Il Timone Pizzeria was born from the legacy of the historic Pizzeria located in Viale San Marco.
We specialize in authentic Neapolitan pizzas with an unmistakable taste thanks to the high quality raw materials coming from Campania and Sicily.
MENU
In all our dishes we use exclusively
Mozzarella from Campania (fiordilatte from the Lattari Mountains – Agerola and Salerno DOP buffalo mozzarella).
San Marzano DOP tomatoes (where specifically indicated) or “Rosso Gargano” Apulian tomatoes (very high quality)
Anchovies from Cetara (Campania) and Sciacca (Sicily)
Monocultivar “Nocellara del Belice” DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil , pressed directly in the harvesting area (Sicily, DOP Val di Mazara)
Oregano and Sicilian Capers
We have partnered with trusted suppliers who work for us directly on site, selecting products of extraordinary quality and also personally taking care of transport so that each product arrives very fresh, almost daily.
The dough without yeast
Dough designed and produced directly by us... completely without yeast... and not very
salty... The result is a decidedly more digestible and lighter dough, for a pizza with a fine consistency, which allows us to enhance the flavors and quality of the filling products.
AVAILABLE AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR ALL OUR TRADITIONAL DOUGH PIZZAS (it is not recommended as an alternative to real dough).
