The name Queen Sofia was born one fine day when in our family restaurant, where we only cooked fish, we received an unexpected visit from the actress Sophia Loren. The actress asked us to accompany the ordered dish with a focaccia pizza and, as we didn't have a wood-fired oven, we ordered a focaccia from a nearby pizzeria. She ate it but she realized the deception and with a joke she said to us: “O Napulitan se fa sicc ma nun mor” and she smiled. We replied: “We will open a restaurant with a wood-fired oven and we will call it Regina Sofia!”.
